GRAND FORKS — UND continued its momentum on the recruiting trail this week. It received a verbal commitment from 6-foot, 172-pound winger Cooper Simpson of Shakopee, Minn. The highly skilled forward is UND's seventh commitment in slightly over two months — a run that kicked off with a verbal commitment from defenseman E.J. Emery on July 23. Since then, UND has added commitments from forwards Andrew O'Neill, Will Zellers and Ashton Schultz, as well as defenseman Sam Laurila and goalie Caleb Heil. This week, Simpson joined the list.
