A Swervo Entity paid $8.8 million for the 37-acre amphitheater site adjacent to County Road 83 and Unbridled Avenue in Shakopee. (File rendering) Minneapolis-based Swervo Development has acquired the land it needs to build a new amphitheater at Canterbury Park in Shakopee. The Swervo Entity, Bloomington Investments LLC, paid $8.8 million for the 37-acre project site adjacent to County Road 83 and Unbridled Avenue, Canterbury said Monday. The site is in the northeast corner of Canterbury's campus.
